This year will be Insane Inflatable 5K’s “biggest, best and bounciest year yet,” says Stuart Kaul, director of events. On Saturday, Oct. 22, the event bounces into Richmond with six new obstacles (there are 11 total) along a 3.1-mile course.
Participants can also take in the midway, which includes games, food and merchandise from local vendors and sponsors. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society and its Relay for Life fundraiser. Prices range from $49 for advanced registration to $100 for an all-access pass. The first wave of participants will begin at 8:30 a.m., and additional waves will continue through 11:30 a.m. at Meadow Event Park in Doswell.
