Science and faith come into conflict in HATTheatre’s production of “Creating Claire,” running March 4 to 6 and 11 to 13. Claire, a docent at a natural history museum, receives pushback after diverging from her script about evolution to consider intelligent design. It’s noteworthy that the play has no villain, says director Zachary Owen. “ ‘Creating Claire’ looks at how issues of faith can cause us to make sweeping changes in our lives, and compromise the relationships we hold most dear,” he says. $10 to $25. 1124 Westbriar Drive. 343-6364 or hattheatre.org.
