Need a one-of-a kind holiday gift? Attend two different art-related fundraising occasions: 1708 Gallery’s Monster Drawing Rally and Artspace Gallery’s artroulette.
The seventh annual Monster Drawing Rally, from 12:30 to 5 p.m. Dec. 10, features about 20 artists working in three-hour shifts creating art while spectators roam the gallery. Their finished products go up on the wall for sale for a fixed price of $65 each.
Artspace’s second biennial artroulette kicked off Oct. 9, wherein some 80 artists divided into 20 teams to create work together. The finished efforts are displayed in the Plant Zero exhibition spaces through Dec. 9, when a closing-night event will conclude the silent auction, plus food and a cash bar. 7 to 10 p.m.
