As Virginia wine hits its stride, RVA is strolling right along. We can claim about 10 wineries within an hour's drive, and we have access to free weekly sampling at area wine shops, frequent wine dinners and wine festivals, and plenty of wine bars and vino-savvy restaurants where knowledgeable staffers can recommend the perfect pairing for your appetizer, entrée or dessert.

In the following articles, we talk with some of the people behind the new outpouring of interest and explore ways to expand and enrich your wine experience.
