As part of its series of events commemorating the 200 anniversary of the practice of William Lawrence Bottomley, the Historic Richmond Foundation will host a demonstration dinner in one of the architect's creations on Monument Avenue next Thursday. For $100 each or $175 a couple, watch chef Ellie Basch put together a meal with locally sourced produce and meat. The dinner takes place at 1800 Monument Ave., Bottomley's final commission on the avenue. For more information on this and other Bottomley events visit the Historic Richmond Foundation site or call 643-7407.
