Having survived four tumultuous decades, Pentagram is seeing a comeback as the doom-metal pioneers are discovered (or rediscovered) by an underground following.
Originally hailing from Alexandria, Pentagram is known for its hard-rocking sound comparable to Black Sabbath, along with the over-the-top stage presence of lead singer Bobby Liebling, whose long struggle with drug addiction is chronicled in the 2011 documentary “Last Days Here.”
Pentagram performs at The Broadberry on March 11, along with King Giant, Night Magic and Stone Woman. 8 p.m. $20. 353-1888 or thebroadberry.com.
