Last year, Billy Idol released his seventh studio album, Kings & Queens of the Underground and published his memoir, Dancing with Myself. The book chronicles Idol’s colorful life from the early days of U.K. stardom to addiction, motorcycle accidents and a late-career comeback. On June 2, the 59-year-old Brit brings his signature sneer, spiked blond hair and longtime guitarist Steve Stevens to The National for an 8 p.m. show.
